This Zinfandel is an expression of California freshness. Its nose flirts with the sweetness of bubblegum before presenting tree bark and a heaping measure of earthiness. It has firm structure and offers flavors of juicy plum, the spice of cassis, and a hint of licorice biscotti. The tannins are moderate and inviting.
